This is the 2 minute trailer for "P. Diddy's StarMaker," a new realty music competition from MTV, premiering on MTV at 10:00 PM ET on August 16. The show features Sean "Diddy" Combs in pursuit of a new solo act to sign to his Bad Boy Records label.

He'll be aided by judges Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, Tamara Conniff, Johnny Wright, Laurie Ann Gibson and Kimberly Caldwell, with appearances by Lady Gaga, Kelly Rowland, Pete Wentz and Nicole Scherzinger.
